Faroese companies for the first time with a stand in the gigantic China International Import Expo - CIIE - in Shanghai 5th-10th November. Salmon farming company Bakkafrost and pelagic fish producer Pelagos were for the first time represented by a joint booth here at the 4th CIIE. Due to the current quarantine provisions, good people from Shanghai Chunar Group, headed by Mr. Dennis Cai, a main importer and distributor of Atlantic Salmon from the Faroes were helping with manning the stand. Danish Ambassador H.E. Thomas Østrup Møller showed his courtesy with a visit to the Faroese stand where he greeted Faroese Head of Representation Mr. Sigmundur Ísfeld.
