KJ HYDRAULIK | It's all about recycling

In the last few years, KJ has converted over 200 old cages to over 100 more modern 160m 3x450 cages. The old steel brackets are dismantled and sent to scrap dealers, and all plastic that is not used again is sent to recycling. New steel brackets are fitted and all the pipes used again.

By rebuilding the cages, we have reused approx. 2,700 tonnes of PE100 pipes and 5,500m3 polystyrene. In addition to this, approx. 1,360 tonnes of steel and 362 tonnes of plastic is sent for recycling.
