'Bellona', an independent environment watchdog from Norway, is urging the whole salmon industry to take greater steps in cutting aquaculture climate emissions by 2030.

Silje Båtsvik Risholm, senior adviser at Bellona

“Our goal should be to reduce greenhouse gas emissions related to the transport of salmon by 55% by 2030. To achieve our goal, we must phase out the transport of salmon by plane. Bellona praises Hiddenfjord for leading the way and showing that it is possible. When will Norwegian aquaculture companies follow their lead?”
