They managed to fill up the trawler with Blue Whiting with only four tows

Icelandic trawler Jón Kjartanson picked up a new 2600 Vónin Gannet trawl on the Faroe Islands and went straight for the the fishing grounds in Faroese waters.

They managed to fill up the trawler with Blue Whiting with only four tows, before heading to Iceland to discharge. This was the first trip with Bjarni Már Hafsteinsson as skipper.

Jón Kjartanson is using the Twister Smart Doors for spreading the trawls.
