Icelandic vessels are a common sight at MEST

MEST pleased to welcome the Icelandic pelagic vessel Margrét to MEST Shipyard in the Faroe Islands for scheduled maintenance and repair. MEST´ skilled team is performing a range of tasks, including:
- Washing and painting the hull, including both the bottom and sides
- Replacing zinc anodes
- Overhauling the trawl winches and trawl blocks
- Installing new bottom equipment
In addition to these key projects, other essential repairs have also completed.
Margrét is expected to depart from MEST Skála later this week.
It has become a rather common thing to see Icelandic vessels at MEST. Just a few months ago Gullver from Seyðisfirði and Ljósafell from Fáskrúðsfirði received services at MEST.
