BAKKAFROST SCOTLAND | Native Hebridean wins silver at the Great British Food Awards

Bakkafrost Scotland’s premium Native Hebridean Smoked Scottish Salmon brand has picked up a silver award in the smoked fish and seafood category at the 2023 Great British Food Awards.🥈

The winners were revealed on 27 October in a special issue of Great British Food magazine.


Launched in 2014, the Great British Awards recognise the very best of British artisanal produce. This year’s awards featured a wide range of categories, with each product being tested by celebrity judges who have a significant influence on the world of British food and drink.


Native Hebridean is a truly remarkable product having been specially developed over more than a decade. What sets it apart is its unique genetic lineage and adaptation to the untouched waters of the Hebrides. It offers a truly Scottish legacy with unique heritage.
